ANNIVERSARY

120th Anniversary at Villa Necchi Campiglio

A heritage handed down generation after generation, with roots firmly planted in the Biella area and its well-known textile tradition. These are the elements that perfectly embody the 120-year history and identity of the Fratelli Tallia di Delfino wool mill.

July 10th, 2023, Fratelli Tallia di Delfino, the day before the opening of the Milano Unica trade show, along with customers, colleagues, and friends, celebrated its 120th anniversary.

Villa Necchi Campiglio, a 1930s design mansion in the heart of Milan, was the stage chosen by the wool mill to host the event celebrating the history of the brand and its iconic fabrics.

A historic villa part of the ‘Case Museo di Milano’ circuit and owned by FAI – Fondo per l’Ambiente Italiano, Villa Necchi Campiglio was designed by the famous Milanese architect Pietro Portaluppi.

Striving for excellence

The basement of the villa, for this special evening, was transformed into ‘Casa Tallia’, set up to retrace the history of the brand, including historical archives and the most iconic fabrics of the collection.

The constant search for excellence is also found in the creation of the anniversary fabric created ad hoc by the textile designers. A sophisticated Glencheck design with a precious ‘120 Anniversary Glencheck Made in Italy’ selvedge enriches this special limited edition fabric by Fratelli Tallia di Delfino.

For this special occasion, the wool mill hosted Federico Gad Crema, internationally renowned pianist of Biella origin, considered one of the most talented artists of his generation, offering participants a performance of rare excellence in an exceptional setting

Special thanks go to our partners who supported us on this wonderful evening: Lanerossi, Fazioli and Sense.
